Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas

Super easy, super awesome, super healthy snack!
Here is a simply delicious snack that can be made savory or sweet.

Soak the chickpeas and prepare as you would regular chickpeas without overcooking. I know you can make them with canned beans, but I have never tried, so I cannot guarantee the results.
once the chickpeas are ready cool, rinse in cold water and dress them. Coat them in oil (either olive or coconut oil spray) and generously sprinkle either of the following dressing spices and coat well:

·                Indian spices (shown in the picture): Turmeric, black pepper, curry powder, cumin, salt, cloves.
·                Mexican spices: cumin, ancho powder, salt, lime pepper, paprika.
·                Sweet Cinnamon: cinnamon powder and fine brown sugar
·                Italian herbs: oregano, garlic powder, basil leaves, salt and pepper
·                Garlic herbs: garlic powder, thyme, parsley flakes, salt and pepper
·                Spicy: cayenne powder, pepper, paprika, salt
·                Simple: salt
Place them spread apart in one layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes on 375 - 420F (depending on your oven) or until browned and crispy. Let cool for a few minutes before you can enjoy.

Store in a sealed container on a paper towel. Keeps for a few days.

Buon Appetito!!
