Delicious side dish! Can be added to a salad, over pasta, rice, in a wrap or sandwich ... or enjoyed on their own as a side appetizer!
Ingredients:
- canned/jar mushroom (I used organic button mushrooms)*
- tons of fresh garlic (diced fine)
- fresh parsley (chopped)
- fresh basil (chopped)
- salt and pepper
- chili flakes
- extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
Drain the mushrooms and rinse with cold water.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and place in a jar or airtight glass container in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
They can keep in the fridge for several day!

* You can make this dish with fresh mushrooms, but the texture will be different. If you decide to use fresh mushrooms, clean them, slice them and saute them until almost cooked in a little coconut oil. Follow the rest of the directions. Fresh mushrooms will not keep as long as canned either - but are delicious in a different way!
